Coming from chalky vineyard slopes in Hampshire facing the River Itchen, just a stone’s throw from the family’s handsome Grange estate (whose Greek Revival architecture graces the label), this is a classic Hampshire Brut made with the holy trinity of Champagne-grapes Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. With three years aged on its lees in bottle, this takes on a richness and complexity with lingering notes of freshly baked pastry and a creamy, but fresh, finish. One to wow your guests with.

Serving Suggestions

Serve chilled in a wide-rimmed Champagne flute to let the complex flavours emerge from the glass. This is a classic, richer style of English sparkling wine which will impress guests served with smoked salmon canapés or on its own for a celebration, but can also stand up nicely to creamy lobster or fish dishes at a main meal. If you want to try your hand at sparkling wine cocktails, try this with a dash of fine Cognac (serve the wine into the chilled flute with 25ml cognac).
